Celtic keeper rated best in the Europa League, Sevco keeper nowhere near

Despite many having doubts about the signing of Joe Hart on a long term deal in the Summer, both from Celtic and rival fans alike, The big Englishman has proven the doubters wrong with his stunning displays both domestically and in Europe.

That has been backed up today with UEFA publishing on their Europa League Twitter page that Hart has made 23 saves already in the group stages, with a further game still to play.

The next closest are Cezary Miszta of Legia Warsaw, Denes Dibusz of Ferencvaros and Lukas Hradecky of Bayer Leverkusen, all on 20 saves, with Galatasaray stopper Fernando Muslera coming in 5th place with a respectable 18 saves.

To have 3 out of the 4 teams represented on the leaderboard from Celtic’s group just shows you the vast array of attacking threat the clubs in this group possess, and although overall Celtic have conceded a lot of goals in the group, our keeper can hold his head high and know that without him between the sticks this season, we would be far worse off in the competition.
