Celtic lead Hearts 1-0 at the half time interval. It has been a marvellous display of skill, passing and attacking flair from the bhoys.
Tom Rogic back in the side tonight, as I wrote in an earlier article, tapped the ball forward for Anthony Ralston to run on to and fire in a brilliant low cross for the Japanese wizard Kyogo to latch onto. It was a wonderfully taken goal, as most of them are from the wee man.
Unfortunately, soon after providing the assist, Ralston went off injured. Hopefully it is nothing too serious, but the big man isn’t the type to go off at the slightest niggle, so it is rather concerning.
On the plus side we will get to see Juranovic play in his natural right back position. Reports from the Croatia games are that he has been immense for them in that position, so let’s hope we get to see some of that in the second half.
And an honourable mention for our Swedish defender Carl Starfelt who returned this evening after missing a number of games through injury. The big man has looked solid with some no nonsense tackling.
Bring on the second half!
