Another must win game for Celtic tonight as we welcome Hearts to Paradise in the 7:45pm kick off. One notable player that Celtic supporters will be hoping to see return to the starting line-up tonight is Tom Rogic.
Rogic’s creativity has been sorely missed in the midfield area for Celtic in the few games that he’s been absent through injury. He has been a vital player under new manager Ange Postecoglou this season and his return will be a massive boost for the side.
It’s clear to see that without Rogic, who is able to more often than not spot the brilliant runs of Kyogo, the chances for the Japanese ace have dried up in recent games, with Captain Callum McGregor playing a more forward role struggling for form when it comes to his forward passing and through balls.
I’m expecting to see Rogic back starting alongside David Turnbull tonight, who he has formed an excellent partnership with in recent months, despite many having doubts about the two players being able to play together in the heart of the midfield, and McGregor dropping deep to his more suited defensive role.
