Liel Abada starts up front for Celtic today against Motherwell.
The young Israeli winger looked good when he played through the middle against Betis in midweek after Kyogo went off and has scored goals as a striker during his time in Israel.
Celtic should have enough quality in that starting eleven today to see off Motherwell.
The slightly worrying thing is there is no place in the squad at all for Kyogo. Ange said he would be having a scan yesterday and said it was possible that he would play this afternoon.
But no place even in the squad for Kyogo is a bit concerning. Did the scan reveal the injury is worse than initially feared? Or is the manager just being extra cautions and making sure he doesn’t rush him back and leaving him out the squad completely so he is not tempted to put him on like he did against Betis midweek?
We should find out in the next hour or so. Hopefully the scan results were good Ange is just being careful with very important games in the near future.
