Yet again today we have seen or manager Ange Postecoglou quite rightly put yet another reporter in his place after he asked the Celtic manager a leading question about it being a good time for the winter break coming earlier due to our injuries piling up.
Ange knew exactly the narrative the reporter was trying to spin, the same one that the Sevco loons and all that pander to them are playing, that Celtic only pushed for the winter break to come in earlier due to the amount of injuries we had.
Of course any sane person knows that the decision to bring forward the winter break in the hope to play in front of full stadiums of supporters when we come back, instead of a mere 500 per ground, was the best way forward, but obviously the Sevco nuts have to make a conspiracy out of absolutely everything, and some of our press seem to go along with them.
But getting back to these reporters and journalists, it’s pretty much a weekly occurrence now that Ange hands their arse to them on a plate. I’m beginning to think some of them get a kick out of being humiliated by him, because surely they can’t all be this naïve?
Ange Postecoglou isn’t the type of manager you can catch off guard or feed him a trick question in the hopes he stumbles on it, he’s far too experienced, he’s too switch on.
The journalists and reporters in this country need to think very carefully about the response they will almost certainly get the next time they try to trip our manager up.
