With Ange Postecoglou reported to be looking to trim down his 35 man playing squad and get rid of some of the fringe players, there will be a good few Celtic players available for loan and/or permanent transfers away from the club in this window.
One of these players on that list appears to be midfielder Ismaila Soro. The Ivorian has failed to impress since he came from Israel under Neil Lennon and he is pretty far down the pecking order in midfield.
The club rumoured to be keen on snapping him up is New York Red Bulls. This is the team that signed Klimala for £3.5m from us and they have also recently signed another former Celt, Lewis Morgan, from Inter Miami.
If Celtic can recoup the £3m they paid for Soro, it would be good business in my opinion.
