Celtic’s Croatian ace Josip Juranovic is certainly not worried about Sevco’s January deadline day signing, Juventus flop Aaron Ramsey.
Speaking in a press conference before the Glasgow derby tonight, Juranovic said:
“It’s just Ramsey. It is nothing special. If you have, say, Cristiano Ronaldo in the team and the team is not going well, it’s not just one player who will change the game, you need to play all 11.
“We have really quality players here — and we need to watch ourselves.”
Juranovic isn’t just saying this to wind up Sevco fans and the media. This is a guy who plays his international football with one of the greatest midfielders of his generation in Luka Modric. He isn’t going to be phased by a player like Ramsey coming in to play for a rival team.
And he’s right, we have quality players of our own, at lots of them.
