First the Higgins saga and now this.
I swear this board takes absolute delight in rubbing up Celtic supporters the wrong way.
I don’t care if we would get a tidy sum of money for taking part in this tournament in Australia, a ‘friendly’ against that mob just doesn’t sit right at all. I don’t think it will even sit right with the Sevco supporters either, no matter how desperate for money their club is.
By agreeing to this we are helping to keep them afloat. We are giving them limelight that they don’t deserve.
The club say we are not one half of anything, but will no doubt play into the promotion of ‘The Old Firm Down Under’.
This isn’t some watered down derby like Man Utd v Man City or even El Clasico these days where they play each other in foreign countries in friendly matches that the tourists can enjoy.
This means more to us. It runs a hell of a lot deeper. Our board know this. Yet they don’t care.
It is an utter disgrace if our club goes ahead with this. I would be disgusted.
Surely someone has gotten ahead of themselves and released this JOKE a month early APRIL 1!!!! WHOEVER made such a calamitous decision should be binned NOW

Utterly ridiculous idea going half way round the world in the first place, no matter who we play, I never want to hear another word about to many games and long hard season ever again.
