Celtic now must do what they haven’t been able to for a number of years, and beat Livingston away in the league tomorrow afternoon, in order to keep our three point lead at the top of the SPFL.
It was a turgid game at Ibrox. Neither team were good. Aberdeen created absolutely nothing all game and neither did Sevco until Roofe came off the bench to replace Morelos and bundled the ball into the net from about a yard out on 80 mins.
It’s now up to us to take care of business tomorrow and a win away to Livi could be a huge psychological boost for the team, and it will hopefully give us the kickstart that we need for the season run in.
But the league remains in our own hands, if we win these remaining nine games we win the league, it’s that simple, probably less if we can beat Sevco once or twice too.
But it’s one game at a time, and all focus must be on Livi tomorrow, and exercising our demons at the Tony Macaroni Stadium.
3 points is a must. And the players need to be bang up for the battle.
