I’m sure you’ve all see them by now. Countless tweets from Sevco fans creaming themselves over winning the European Quarter Final Championship. Well, that’s what they seem to think it is, in reality, they have gone through to the quarter finals of the Europa League, putting out a very poor Red Star team to get there.
I’m not knocking the achievement, they have done well, but I find it very sad that instead of celebrating their progression, they keep harking back to when Celtic were last in a European quarter final.
It’s all part of their small club mentality I guess. Desperate to compare everything they do to their bigger city rivals.
However, once Celtic fan has decided to show up the obsessed bears on Twitter, and quoted his tweet with an epic reply to shut him up, showing that Scott Brown alone has dominated their club in the same time period they keep bringing up.
