Speaking today in his Daily Express column, Charlie Nicholas stated that if Celtic win on Sunday, then the league title will be coming back home to Celtic Park.
However, he seems to think that if Sevco have one man in particular playing for them, then the best we can hope for is a score draw.
He wrote: ” If Rangers have Morelos, I can see it being a score draw, maybe 2-2.”
“The big concern for Rangers is over whether Morelos – who wasn’t with Colombia for their final World Cup qualifier in Venezuela – makes it after suffering a thing injury while away.”
“From what I’ve read, it looks like he’ll be fit and ready for Ibrox.”
As it stands, Morelos has only scored 2 goals against Celtic in 18 appearances.
He is an important player for them no doubt, but to say that if he plays then it would mean that they would get a result against us, I can’t say I agree with that.
After the way we ripped them apart back in February at Celtic Park, it’s their defensive showing which I believe is going to be much more vital for them.
What difference would Morelos make if we score another three goals against them in 45 mins?
None.
I do agree however, that if we beat them on Sunday, then it definitely looks like the league title will be coming back to where it belongs, wrapped in green and white ribbons.
What does he know about anything just another waste of breath he’s just as bad as Walker and Provan, if celtic get at Sevco from the start celtic will be out of sight by half-time.
