Many Celtic fans have been mocking Sevco today for bottling it and pulling out of Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou’s ‘homecoming tour’, after a furious reaction and protests from their supporters.
They loved the idea of it at first, thinking it was going to be branded as the ‘Old Firm’ derby in Australia, and that it would wind up Celtic fans.
Well that joy turned into bitter anger and frustration, after the event was practically labeled as the Celtic manager’s homecoming tour and that they were going to be picking up substantially less money than us as our supporting act.
Now Aussie footy broadcaster Optus Sport has joined in on the banter at the expense of Sevco.
