Yet here we are, in his first season, League cup in the bag, in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup and on the verge of reclaiming our Scottish Premiership title.
What Ange and this virtually brand new Celtic side has been able to achieve this season has been fantastic, and on the brink of being extraordinary.
And without question, it has absolutely broken our rivals.
They did not expect this.
They honestly expected Ange Postecoglou to be sacked by Christmas.
