Celtic has been known for many, many years now for having without doubt the best atmosphere in world football on a European night.
Legends like Ronaldo, Messi, Xavi, Buffon and Iniesta have all confirmed it is the best they have ever played in.
And these are players who have played all over the world, on the biggest stages possible.
So it was no surprise that former Borussia Monchengladbach and Germany World Cup winner Christoph Kramer also said the same thing recently.
While giving an interview with DAZN he stated:
“My best game at club level was with Gladbach in Glasgow against Celtic.”
“I’ve never experienced such an atmosphere.”
“We won 2-0 and it wasn’t a footballing treat, but the atmosphere was amazing.”
