Official RB Leipzig Twitter Account Aims Cheeky Dig At Sevco After Semi-Final Win

RB Leipzig’s official English Twitter account aimed a cheeky dig at Sevco and their fans tonight after a very comfortable win for them tonight in the Europa League semi-final first leg tie in Germany.

The game wasn’t the most entertaining, with Sevco sitting back playing anti-football and Leipzig dominating the match, but having no cutting edge in the final third.

The breakthrough for the home side didn’t come until the 85th minute, when full back Angelino blasted in a long range volley past the hapless Alan McGregor.

Although Leipzig were poor going forward, they probably should have had another couple of goals, but star striker Christopher Nkunku was uncharacteristically out of form.

Sevco are still in the tie, but will need to play far better at Ibrox, which in fairness you would expect them to do.

Without Morelos or even Kemar Roofe, they seem totally blunt at the front end of the pitch and never looked like scoring tonight.

Hopefully Starfelt and Carter-Vickers will find it just as easy against them this Sunday.

Check out the cheeky dig below..
