Sevco Shirt Sponsor Goes Bust, Found To Be A Scam Company!

Wow.

What an absolute embarrassment.

It has been revealed tonight that one of Sevco’s main shirt sponsors for next season, Sportemongo, has ‘gone bust’ and have taken down their website after apparently being found to be a scam NFT site.

What a terrible look this is for Sevco.

Truly embarrassing.

Talk about unprofessionalism and not doing your due diligence when agreeing to business partnerships.

And on top of that, they have apparently already produced thousands of shirts to sell in the new season with their sponsor plastered on them, which they will no longer be able to use.

Who is going to pay for that loss?

I can’t see Castore simply taking it on the chin, it wasn’t them who decided to put the sponsor on the shirt, it was at the instruction of Sevco, so if it can’t be used, then Sevco will have to pay the bill.

Or alternatively, I wouldn’t put it past them to just leave their sponsor on there if it’s going to save them money.

And what will happen with the official SPFL NTF sponsor that was just recently launched that Sevco refused to be a part of?

Are they going to come crawling back to them and ask to be cut in to that deal now?

Most likely.

Rangers on the front, Sportememongp on the back. Two dead outfits on the one shirt. Perfect.
