Aussie Journalist’s Class Tweet About Celtic Manager Shows What He Means To Them And Us

We all saw it when Ange Postecoglou was announced as Celtic manager.

Even when a lot of us were a bit wary or some even angry at his appointment, there was always comments from Australian sports journalists or just Australian football fans in general telling us that we have a gem on our hands.

And how right they were.

What Ange Postecoglou has done for our club this season has been phenomenal.

Especially after the car crash of last season.

He has made us proud to be Celtic supporters again, but not only that, he has given us so much joy this season. In all honesty, I can’t remember ever enjoying a season as much as I have done this one.

It has been brilliant.

The style of football, the signings we have brought it and the way the manager has just united the whole club.

Look at last season, there was genuine hatred from supporters towards the likes of Kennedy and Gavin Strachan, now Ange is continuously praising the terrific work the entire backroom staff have done this season, and chooses to celebrate his manager of the month awards by including multiple different backroom staff in the pictures with him.

You can see from the smiles of their faces, that they love Ange and they love coming in to Celtic Park and Lennoxtown to do their work every day.

It is honestly so enjoyable being a Celtic supporter at this present time, and a lot of that is probably due to the fact that we were underdogs this season.

I can’t remember the last time we weren’t favoured to win the league, at one point in the season after our terrible start, we were actually over 5/1 to win the league title this season, and now we have turned that arounds and all but have both hands on the trophy.

It has truly been a magnificent achievement from all involved, lead by the superb Ange Postecoglou.

Take a look at the class tweet below which sums up what he means to his countrymen back home.
