Sevco Winning Today Was Best Thing For Celtic

I didn’t watch their game today.

I normally do when I can, as they are our closest rivals and I like to see how they are playing, their strengths, their weaknesses, the decisions they get and above all, I love to see them lose or at least drop points.

It’s fantastic when that happens.

But today, there was no need to watch as the league is all but over and I don’t need to analyse their play as we don’t play them any more this season.

In a way, I’m a glad that they won today, because our players, our manager and us as supporters deserve to have that moment at Tannadice on Wednesday night where we clinch the league title.

We deserve to have that elation on the pitch, that immense high, the celebrations in the stadium.

For us to outright win the league today by them losing, with the manager out at the cinema with his family, with our players chilling at home, it would have been the worst way to win it and as Ange alluded to yesterday it would have been a bit of a downer.

We can now look forward to the game against Dundee Utd on Wednesday night and do what we deserve and that’s win this league title ourselves and celebrate in style on the pitch and in the stands.
