A story has come to light today that pubs in Seville have been forced to close the day before and the day of Sevco’s Europa League Cup Final match against Frankfurt next week.
The reports are unconfirmed over a full closure, but certain pubs have replied to emails confirming that they will be closed these days due to ‘carrying out essential maintenance’ or ‘circumstances beyond our control’.
The powers that be have obviously saw the carnage that Scotland’s shame carried out in George Square last summer and in Manchester in 2008 and will want to implement damage control, and they obviously feel that limiting the supply of booze will massively help with that.
That could well be a mistake though, as raging bears are already lining this up as an excuse to destroy their beautiful city.
Take a look at the disgraceful posts below.
There will no doubt be plenty more of these thinly veiled threats out there already and I’m sure there will be plenty more to come.
Pray for Seville.
