One Sevco fan on Twitter has definitely not taken it well that Celtic are once again Scottish Premiership Champions, and proven without doubt that we are in fact the best team in the country.
For a club like Sevco who claim ludicrously that they are ‘the most successful team in the world’, and they can’t even make one successful defence of their league title, is quite frankly embarrassing.
It’s like a boxer who becomes world champion and then loses it in his very first defence a few months later.
Yeah, technically, he can always say he’s a champion on paper, but people don’t really view them as a world champion boxer. That status typically comes with several successful title defences, not just holding the belt for a brief period of time.
And ultimately, that’s how Sevco will be viewed, especially by the wider football audience outside of Glasgow and Scotland.
They’ll be seen as a flash in the pan. A team that has only won 1 Premiership title in 11 years, while Celtic have won the other 10.
Celtic will quite rightly be viewed as the dominant force in Scottish football.
I have to give credit to this upset zombie though, at least he is one of the very few that is honest about how upset he is, when the vast majority are lying are pretending that they don’t care about the league, meanwhile they were shedding tears on live TV after we beat them at Ibrox.
