Sky Sports have reported late Thursday night that Jota has been up at Celtic Park and put pen to paper on a 4 year contract.
The permanent signing from Benfica is set to net the Portuguese giants £6.3m, with a 30% sell on fee.
Now, Sky Sports are reporting that it will be 30% of any future fee Celtic receive if and when we sell Jota on in the future, but as you know, these things always seem to change over time, with different outlets reporting different wording, but from what I would guess, it will be 30% of any profit Celtic make on top of the £6.3m fee, just like was the case with the Odsonne Edouard deal from PSG.
It looks like Celtic will most likely announce Jota Friday morning, with a club TV interview and pictures possibly taken tonight inside Celtic Park to go with the announcement tomorrow, or potentially, that will all wait until tomorrow, with a media press conference also included.
Hopefully now there will be no further delays in the announcement, as Celtic fans are starting to get fed up that no official announcement has been made yet, but with this news tonight, a Friday morning announcement is should surely be nailed on.
