More Woe For Sevco As Aribo Refuses New Deal

The summer transfer window is going from bad to worse for Sevco.

Unable to get any new signings in the door and trying to scrape together pennies in order to make improved offers for players like Colak and so far still not being able to get him, and last night being snubbed by free agent striker Erik Botheim.

Now, one of their better players and most valuable assets, Joe Aribo, has refused a new deal with the cash strapped club.

The player is now in the final year of his current contract, with the press recently releasing he has a £10m buy out clause.

The player has consistently said that he doesn’t want to leave Ibrox this summer, so it looks like his intention will be to either rinse the club for as much money as possible in his new contract, or run it down to the very end and leave on a free next summer, while most likely earning a large sign on fee from his new club.

Things just keep going from bad to worse for Sevco. Expect the press to ramp up alleged interest in the player in the coming days and weeks.
