Joe Aribo officially completed his move to Southampton this afternoon after completing a £6m deal, with the potential for a further £4m if all add ons are met.
A guaranteed £6m is a far cry from the £30m that they seemed to think he was worth, but of course anyone with a working brain knew there would be no chance of Sevco ever getting that type of money for Aribo.
With the likes of Fabrizio Romano confirming on multiple occasions what the true fee was, Sevco were still too embarrassed to confirm what the official transfer sum received was, preferring to call it a ‘significant undisclosed fee’.
Oh my. How embarrassing!
Just come out and tell people what you got for him, everyone already knows, you are just giving people the chance to poke fun at you trying to conceal the truth and twist the narrative.
