Sevco fans now appear ravenous for more player sales from their club after getting a taste for a bit of money this summer after selling Calvin Bassey to Ajax and Joe Aribo to Southampton this window.
The next rat to leave the sinking ship of Sevco could well be Glen Kamara, after reports came out this afternoon that Galatasaray have bid £8m for the player.
However, Sevco fan media are reporting that an official bid has not been made yet, but apparently there is interest from the Turkish giants, as well as Marseille, Frankfurt and RB Leipzig.
£8m isn’t quite ‘Bassey Billions’, but it’s would be a good deal for Sevco, as they only cost them £50k from Dundee.
Kamara has been a key player for them over the last few seasons, and as a Celtic supporter, the more they weaken by selling these key players, the happier I am.
It seems to me that Sevco aren’t confident of getting past the Champions League qualifiers and rather than keeping a strong team and adding some players to help them get there, it seems they are just happy to take decent money for players right now if they can get it, not taking the chance of these clubs moving onto other targets.
Take a look at the tweets below as Sevco fans start foaming at the mouth at the thought of another good player leaving them.
