Is Celtic Flop Finally On His Way Out?

Celtic flop Albian Ajeti could finally be set to leave Celtic Park after over a year of trying to offload the £5m waste.

Ajeti has done well and scored on occasion, but he has been poor more often than not and is constantly injured.

It’s clear Ange Postecoglou has been desperate to try and get him off the wage bill, with Ajeti no doubt being a high earner after his £5m switch from West Ham, I would assume he is probably on around £18k-£20k a week at Celtic.

There has not really been any rumours of clubs interested in taking him off our hands at all during this window, but Postecoglou has given some hope with his latest comments on the Swiss striker.

“Ajeti has had a bit of a knee problem but he trained in Glasgow while we are in Poland last week. We’ll see what happens. There’s still time in this window and there will be some movement.”

Ange sound pretty convinced that we’ll be able to offload him with that statement, whether that is on a permanent deal or on a season long loan is anyone’s guess, but at least getting him off the wage bill for a year or even freeing up 10-12 grand a week is wages that can be given to a new signing instead.

Although, a permanent deal would be ideal, and hopefully we can at least get a bit of that £5m back, even if it is around £1.5m or something around that range.
