The pundits on Clyde Superscoreboard have been giving their predictions for the upcoming Scottish Premiership Season starting tomorrow, and I think even a blind man could see it coming that Hugh Keevins was going to pick Sevco to win the league, and that is exactly what he has done tonight.
Speaking towards the end of the Clyde SSB show this evening as he gave his full league table rundown from 12th to first, Keevins stated:
“Celtic in 2nd place.”
“We’ve all agreed that it’s going to be tighter than two coats of paint. Therefore, there’s not much in it.”
“I do not believe that Rangers are weaker for the loss of Aribo and Calvin Bassey.”
“I think they’ve made very good signings in the close season break.”
“I think defensively, there’ll be no more of the nonsense that cost them points against Hearts, Motherwell at Ibrox, Ross County away, all the ones you can remember. Dundee Utd at Tannadice.”
“I think that will be tightened up considerably, and I think Celtic, middle to front – entertaining, wonderful.”
“But, there’s just a little bit of vulnerability at the back.”
So they you have it. Keevins believes that Sevco’s defence will magically improve after selling their best defender and that the best defence in the league last season is now magically vulnerable!
I wonder if he’ll predict his Ibrox idols to go undefeated again all season after about six games in like he did last year.
Hopefully, and I believe this will be, another case of the Keevins curse!
Does any genuine human being take any notice of what this old clown says is he ever been true.
