The Ibrox side got away with an opening day disaster after narrow 2-1 win away to Livingston this afternoon, after trailing 1-0 for around 70 minutes of the match.
Normally if a new signing is trending on Twitter throughout the UK it’s because he looks shit hot, but this wasn’t the case for poor John Souttar.
He put in a truly embarrassing performance. Probably not seen by an individual in their team since Borna Barasic was completely destroyed by Celtic in our 3-0 win back in February, and seemed to mentally capitulate on the pitch.
Souttar was totally destroyed. It like like a grown man playing against young child the way Nouble pushed him about with absolute ease.
It got so bad that wee Gio had to sub him just after the hour mark. He was shockingly bad.
And even the Ibrox fans think so too!
It is going to be very fun watching Souttar up against Giakoumakis when they visit Celtic Park in September!
