“Bye Bye R*ngers!” – Celtic Fans React To Champions League Draw

Sevco have a very tough task on their hands if they are to make it past Belgian outfit Union Saint-Gilloise in the third round of Champions League qualifiers being played tonight as they head over to Belgium, with the return leg at Ibrox next Tuesday.

They will face the winners of the tie between PSV and Monaco in the play-off round should they make it through, having missed out on the easier draw of playing the winner of Sturm Graz and Dynamo Kyiv.

On paper, it looks like it will be another season without Champions League football for wee Gio’s men, while Scotland’s premier club Celtic are already in the group stages, securing a £40m jackpot in the process.

Expect to hear staunch cried of “We didn’t want to get into the Champions League anyway!” from upset bears in a few weeks time.

Celtic fans of course have been rubbing their hands with glee after the draw was announced.

Take a look at the Twitter reaction below.

The UEFA cup will become Europe’s premier football competition, the only one anyone cares about, if Sevco are competing for it. Celtic in the duddy CL won’t be worth mentioning.

    Fuds.
