Celtic’s Croatian right back has today been the centre of further transfer speculation, after the player was liked with a move to La Liga side Atletico Madrid a few weeks ago.
This time however, alleged interest has come from down South, with Chelsea and Manchester United apparently interested in signing the player, who only just joined the hoops last summer.
Juranovic has already said he is happy at Celtic, and despite saying he is flattered by the interest other teams are showing in him, he has said he is happy to stay put at Celtic Park.
And with Celtic in the Champions League this season, Juranovic is apparently keen to stay in order to help secure his place as Croatia’s No.1 right back for the World Cup towards the end of the year.
And now Croatian football journalist Ižak Ante Sučić has weighed in on the Juranovic rumours, simply quoting the tweet linking the player with Man U and Chelsea and simply saying: “Noup.”
It isn’t clear whether he is saying the rumours aren’t true, or whether he is just saying Juranovic isn’t interested in moving this summer, even if they are true.
Either way, it looks like Juranovic will be staying put, which is great news for Celtic fans.
