Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph has given an update late this afternoon on Sead Haksabanovic’s proposed move to Celtic.
Pretty much every other outlet that convers Scottish football have confirmed that a deal has been agreed with Rubin Kazan.
‘In the know’ Celtic accounts have also confirmed the same thing and it has also been reported that the player was due in London today for a medical.
However, Anthony Joseph has warned that a deal is not yet agreed between both clubs, and also that there are FOUR clubs interested in the player.
“Celtic are one of four clubs in talks with Rubin Kazan over a potential deal for winger Sead Haksabanovic. Rubin Kazan are willing to sell the player, but it’s understood they have not agreed a fee with any club yet.”
It certainly is a worrying update from Anthony, considering this one looked to be a done deal and it was only a matter of time before the player was announced.
Anthony is also a very reliable journalist, and he wouldn’t be saying this if he didn’t think this was accurate information.
But we do also have to keep in mind that everyone else is saying that Celtic HAVE agreed a deal with Rubin Kazan, and that the player will be joining Celtic.
We will just have to wait and see who is proven right in due course.
