Barry Ferguson did not look comfortable at all on Go Radio yesterday as this Celtic supporting caller pulled him up on his comments saying that Rangers manager had Ange Postecoglou ‘sussed’.
Instead of admitting he got it wrong, Barry wrote a follow up newspaper saying he was still RIGHT, it’s just the players didn’t follow instructions, although he then went on to admit that he thought Celtic ‘took Rangers by surprise’ with Barry clearly confused and contradicting himself.
He tries to claim on the video what he meant by ‘sussed’ is that Van Bronckhorst knows how Ange’s men are going to play, but as the caller rightly points out, even Stevie Wonder can see how Ange is going to play!
He is very open about his approach to every game.
It is one thing knowing how Celtic are going to approach the game, it is another thing entirely to be able to stop it and an even bolder claim to say Gio has Ange ‘sussed’, as if he will be able to stop Celtic and beat us every time, which is what he obviously meant when he originally made those claims.
The Celtic fan pulls him up a couple of times but then I think he feels sorry for the clueless ex Rangers man and eases off him.
Much like Celtic did in the 2nd half against wee Gio’s men.
