Jason Cundy quite rightly felt the wrath of Celtic supporters over the last couple of days after he insultingly labeled the club “embarrassing” after a 2-0 defeat to RB Leipzig at Celtic Park on Tuesday night in the Champions League.
Fellow pundit Jamie O’Hara for once stuck up for Celtic, saying that Cundy’s comments were “harsh” and that we “weren’t an embarrassment”.
I doubt Cundy even watched the game, if he did, he’d know that the result and performance was certainly not an “embarrassment.”
Our finishing was, that can’t be argued, but overall Leipzig just edged us and they took their chances, and they are clearly a much improved signed under Marco Rose and obviously have some excellent players.
What absolutely was an embarrassment and Cundy and O’Hara both agreed on that this time, was ‘Rangers’ getting absolutely THRASHED on their own turf 7-1 by Liverpool, currently the 10th best team in England.
Cundy stated the Ibrox side were “an absolute embarrassment” with O’Hara commenting that they were “a bit of a disgrace tonight” and that getting beat 7-1 at home is “not acceptable”.
Cundy finished by stating “Rangers had their pants pulled down and were spanked 7 times!”
The best part was absolutely his rant at the start, which would have had bears listening in at home absolutely seething!
