I was listening back to Clyde Superscoreboard from last night and noticed there were a lot of unhappy bears phoning in after watching the dire performance from their side as they struggled to beat a poor Dundee team at Ibrox in the League Cup quarter Final on Wednesday night.
The players and manager were booed off the park after yet another turgid performance, with Dundee piling the pressure onto the home side in the last 20 minutes of the match.
Rangers also should have been down to 10 men after Fashion Sakala kicked out at a Dundee player, with their apparent ‘enemy’ Willie Collum doing the Ibrox side a favour and only booking the player, while also booking the Dundee player for being the victim of the assault.
Their fans are getting more and more frustrated game-by-game, both at the players and also the manager Giovanni Van Bronckhorst.
Many have been calling for the Dutchman to be sacked, especially after that humiliating 7-1 defeat to Liverpool in the Champions League.
With Steven Gerrard now being sacked by Aston Villa, the Ibrox club may try and temp their old manger back for another stint in Glasgow if thigs get any worse for Gio, and it seems a lot of their fans would actually be in favour of that.
And Rangers fan Alistair is one that wants Gio sacked, and insists that he should have been sacked immediately after making the statement that his side “can’t compete” in the Champions League.
Have a listen to the call below, as there are some surprisingly good and honest comments about Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou in there as well, something you don’t typically hear from one of them!
