Rangers needed an extra time goal this afternoon in order to scrape a 1-1 draw against 10 man Livington.
It was another slow, boring, turgid performance by Giovanni Van Bronckhorst’s men.
They now sit four points behind Celtic, as well as being a huge number of goals behind Ange Postecoglou’s side.
VAR came into play again, as the Livingston player had his yellow card changed to a red after the VAR assistant asked the referee to take another look at the challenge on Alfredo Morelos after moans from the beefy Colombian.
The game ended with boos from the home crowd, who were extremely quiet throughout the entire match.
The Rangers fans are now baying for Gio’s blood, but the board may feel they can hang on to him a little longer after he managed to claim a point, in order to save paying out a compensation package to the Dutchman and his coaching staff.
Their result today just made that win from Celtic earlier in the 4-3 thriller against Hearts even more important.

VAR Dream Team Fail To Stop Celtic As Hoops Win 4-3 Thriller! – Champions 67
The World Cup can’t come quick enough for Gio and the bearsies. I heard on the grapevine that the board has already told him that they want him to go. Gio apparently told them to pay up the contracts for him & his management team and they’ll happily leave. Hun accounts can’t allow for that to happen, so they’ll have to find money from someone or let them run their contracts down…Gufaw Gufaw
