Celtic’s Croatian right-back Josip Juranovic was absolutely outstanding today, as his country put out five time World Cup winners Brazil on penalties to reach the semi-finals of the competition.
They will now play the winner of tonight’s match between Argentina and the Netherlands.
It is absolutely criminal that Juranovic was not awarded FIFA official ‘player of the match’ trophy, because everyone with a pair of eyes could see that the Celtic man was head and shoulders above everyone else on that pitch today.
Even the BBC commentators and and pundits said that Juranovic was the best player by far, well ahead of some of the very best players in the world such as Neymar and Vinicius Jr.
In fact, Vinicius couldn’t get a look in today, because Juranovic bossed him the entire game!
