Celtic right-back Josip Juranovic has been linked with a move away from the club for the last two months at least now.
Ever since he came back from the World Cup, where he was a standout for Croatia, he has been linked with some massive clubs such as Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester Utd and Atletico Madrid.
He has also ben linked with smaller clubs, like Torino and Monza, with reports of a surprising £7m deal in place to join the new Serie A side.
But it looks like Juranovic could well be heading for Germany rather than Italy.
Fabrizio Romano has tweeted tonight that talks between Celtic, Union Berlin and Juranovic for the transfer of the player are at an “advanced” stage.
He seems very confident as he has quoted his trademark “here we go expected soon”.
This would line up with Ange saying in his press conference today that moves away from Celtic Park have “progressed” for some players.
Juranovic was always going to leave this window. Let’s just hope we are going to be compensated fairly for one of the standout players in Qatar.
