I swear Hugh Keevins must get some sort of kick out of being humiliated, because the guy just sets himself up for it time and time again, especially when he’s commentating on Celtic games.
Several times this season alone we have heard him in the Clyde Superscoreboard studio say things like “Celtic are going to drop points here” or “Celtic could play all day and not score” only for us to score and grab a late winner minutes or sometimes even mere seconds later.
At what point do you say to yourself “I probably shouldn’t back against Celtic publicly because they keep proving me wrong”, but Keevins just seems incapable of thinking logically before he speaks.
He’d much rather risk being humiliated on days like today if it means on rare occasions he can back against us and be right and say “see, I told you so!”.
But Celtic keep winning and keep proving him wrong denying Hugh the opportunity to do that, just like today as he left fellow pundit Gordon Dalziel laughing hysterically and mocking the fool, even letting out a patronising “Oh Hugh” at the end of the video, reminding Keevins what a sad sack he is, rubbing his hands together at the prospect of a Celtic downfall, only for him to be left bitterly disappointed.
