Guess the club….
That’s right, thug ‘Rangers’ women’s coach, Craig McPherson shamed Scottish football tonight after a cowardly attack on Celtic Women’s manager Fran Alonso.
Celtic Women came from behind to snatch a late equaliser right at the death to seal a 1-1 draw against our Glasgow rivals to remain in second place behind Glasgow City in the league and one point ahead of ‘Rangers’ in third.
As Fran walked around congratulated both sets of players, cowardly thug McPherson stormed up behind him and headbutted Fran for no apparent reason other than being upset that his side didn’t win.
A stunned Alonso was interviewed after the game and didn’t understand the seething rage coming from McPherson and when asked what the incident was about, Alonso replied:
“I don’t know, I didn’t talk to him the whole game”.
The thing Fran and every other normal person does not understand is that thugs like McPherson don’t need any excuse to get angry and aggressive, because they are simply consumed by hatred of all things Celtic.
