Celtic are now officially only ONE WIN away from retaining the Scottish Premiership title after rivals ‘Rangers’ lost 2-0 away to Aberdeen this afternoon.
On loan Celtic man Liam Scales gave The Dons the lead with an wonder goal which you can watch here:
So after the disappointment of Celtic drawing 1-1 at home to Motherwell yesterday, it turns out it was actually one point GAINED for the hoops, rather than two points lost.
Today’s result at Pittodrie leaves ‘Rangers’ on 79 points with 33 games played and Celtic on 92 points, also with 33 games played.
It mean the absolute maximum amount of points Rangers can finish on, should they will all their games, including against Celtic, is 94 points.
So Celtic would only need one more victory from our remaining five matches in order to put us on 95 points and make it mathematically impossible for Rangers to catch us.
The post split fixture are due to be released tomorrow, with the next round of games due to be played at the weekend of 6/7 May, the Coronation Weekend For King Charles.
If Celtic clinch the league on that anticipated weekend for the bears, it will absolutely ruin them and their memories of what they hoped would be a truly special occasion for them.
