It’s fair to say Sunday was not a good day for ‘Rangers’ or their supporters all round.
On the pitch they were battered by Aberdeen as the Dons ran away 2-0 winners at Pittodrie to give Celtic a 13 point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
And off the park, their ned fan group, The Union Gimps, were battered by Aberdeen fans and left Pittodrie with their tail between their legs and a smashed bus window to boot!
They have since spent the last 48hrs in meltdown as their phone-ins and fans forums were flooded with messages of anger and frustration at yet another lacklustre performance.
Manager Michael Beale is now under pressure to show that he is the man for the job before the club trusts him with overhauling the squad and beginning the title challenge and Champions League qualifiers next season.
Sunday’s Scottish Cup semi-final between Celtic and Rangers is sure to be electric as these fixtures always are.
