Celtic have tonight been linked with a move for skilful Colombian winger Diego Valoyes who plays for Argentine Primera Division side Talleres.
The rumour was mentioned this morning on fans forum Kerrydale Street by trusted poster Pendy12 and has now been picked up tonight by the Daily Record.
Pendy claims that Celtic have “heavily scouted” the 26 year old player who has been capped six times by Colombia and is rated at 5m euros on Transfermarkt.
Watching his highlights clip, Valoyes looks like a very good player, a skilful, tricky winger with an eye for goal and a player who plays with his head up, very similar in those aspects to Jota.
Celtic could really do with a first choice right winger, especially with Abada constantly being linked with a move away this summer and many feeling that Jota plays better on the left, we could do with someone at a similar level to Jota, and Valoyes may just fit that bill.
Check out the posts below and his highlights video.
