Rumour: Celtic Tracking Exciting Man City Winger

It appears Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou is keen on bringing in another winger into the club during the summer transfer window which is set to open in just a few weeks time on 10th June.

The club have already been rumoured to have been scouting Colombian international winger Diego Valoyes who plays his football in Argentina: “Jota Filth Levels” – Excitement As Celtic Linked With Colombian International – Champions 67

And now another rumour has emerged late this morning, apparently originating on The Huddleboard, that Celtic are looking at a young Manchester City winger, and former City Group man Mark Lawwell, who of course now works at Celtic, is behind the move.

The player’s name is Carlos Borges, he is 5ft7 and can play on the left or right wing, and according to Transfermarkt, only has one more year left on his current contract.

But what is very exciting about Borges is his stats, 21 goals and 11 assists in 24 Premier League 2 games this season is outstanding.

Borges has also played for Portugal up until under 19 level and is currently only 19 years old at the moment, so there’s a good chance he will continue to move up the international levels, especially with the type of numbers he is producing.
