Today, Wee Gio announced yet more bad news for Sevco fans as he declared Swedish centre back Filip Helander injured and out for the rest of the season.
He joins Ianis Hagi and Alfredo Morelos as first team players who won’t play anymore this season.
It’s a far cry from all the talk from the start of the season until after the January transfer window, when Sevco fans were constantly mocking the small size our our squad and going on about how much strength in depth they have.
They even claimed they had enough for two fit teams that would win the league!
And as things stand, that looks an extremely ridiculous assertion, as their 10 year old klub trail Celtic by six points with five games left to go.
